Thor was our gorgeous chocolate boy.
He was born on 5th April 2006 and was bred by Rosemary Caunter. He
was a VERY sociable cat, with a purr like a tractor. He came to us
as a stud for our girls, but quickly became a big part of our family and
loved by us all.
Unfortunately he was taken from us
suddenly in October 2007. His life was cruelly cut short and
we are all devastated at his loss. It was not anything that was
caused by any genetic disorders, just one of those things as our vet
called it. We miss so many things about him:
his playful games of fetch; his night time cuddle; the way he loved to
play with anything red; the list goes on.
After much consideration, we have
decided to keep this page on our website as a lasting memory to him.
He is sadly missed.
We have decided to add a few
photographs of him as he was such a stunning looking boy.

Here is a picture of him (2nd bottom),
his brother and 2 of his 3 sisters, with his mum Lady.

Here he is on our first meeting.
He was the one kitten out of the litter who took time out of playing to
sit on our knees and purr as we stroked him. He melted our hearts.

***
Thor settled in straight away.
Here he is not long after he came home with us.

***
Thor was shown as a kitten, doing
very well at every show he attended. Each time he was awarded Best
of Breed. At the Ocicat Club Show in 2007 he was awarded 'Best Male
Kitten in Show', a great honour amongst so many other lovely Ocicats.

***
It was not Thor's beauty that captured
our hearts however, it was his temperament. Thor was a loving, playful boy
who got on well with everyone. He loved our attention and gave us
countless hours of pleasure. He was gentle with our other cats and
tolerant of many admiring friends and visitors.

Thor was such a special cat and we
will always remember him.

to the top.
