Freya gave birth to three kittens.  They were born on 18th November 2003 and you can see pictures of them opposite and below.

This was Freya's (and our) first litter and we would like to thank Jacky Atkinson and Rosemary Caunter for their midwifery advice!

She had two girls (a tawny and a lilac) and one boy (a chocolate silver) and all of them did very well.  Freya was a great Mum, and very tolerant of "interference" from our two sons (or anyone else for that matter!)

We decided to keep the tawny girl, who we called Northsprite Hnossa Skadi.  The lilac girl (Northsprite Astrild or 'Layla') lives near Birmingham with Vivienne.  The chocolate silver boy (Northsprite Loki or 'Tekhu') lives in Delph with Nino.

Loki came for a short visit not too long after he had moved to Delph.  (His new owners were getting married!)  He was growing into a stunning cat.  Here he is making himself at home!
