Freya is our first Ocicat, born 16.07.02. Her official colour is 'tawny' which is one of the more popular colours. She was bred by Rosemary Caunter, one of the main UK breeders of Ocicats. Freya was the reason we became breeders - we wanted her to have kittens! Although she is very much a pet, we took her to the Humberside Cat Show in June '03, where she won Best of Breed and gained an "Intermediate" Certificate (IC). She also won best Maiden Queen. Freya's favourite toys tend to be little 'beanie' children's toys as well as the little fur mice we buy her from time to time (they don't last long!!!). She likes to play fetch up and down steps. She loves her food, but is very polite and always lets the other cats take their pick of the bowls before eating herself.
